Paddy graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Commerce and has previously worked across private equity, M&A law and corporate restructuring at Renatus, Matheson and KPMG respectively.
Paddy is a Venture Capitalist at Elkstone, where he invests in early-stage technology startups with global ambitions across Ireland, the UK, Germany and the USA. His role involves sourcing opportunities, meeting entrepreneurs, investment analysis, conducting due diligence, drafting investment agreements and continuing to support Elkstone’s portfolio companies post investment. Paddy has worked from initial pitch to close on ten deals to date, in industries including drone delivery, plant-based meats, artificial intelligence, sports wearables, marketplaces, voice technology, ecommerce and enterprise software.
Outside of the office, he is often found backpacking, watching Liverpool FC or trying his hand at pretty much every sport he can!
